Take a stroll through the Amazon with our newest Genius Series print, Chico! This adventurous print roars with rich greens, lush, oversized palm leaves and exotic animals. Conveying nature and the wild, this safari-inspired print is named after Brazilian environmentalist, Chico Mendes.

Growing up in the forest, Chico Mendes developed a love and respect for nature. From rubber tapping trees to campaigning for the preservation of the Amazon, Chico was a true conservation activist who made a difference in the environmental world, which unfortunately lead to his assassination in 1988. His hard work and dedication environment did not go unrecognized. A few of the many honors given in Chico's memory include: the Brazilian government declaring him "Patron of the Brazilian Environment," and The Chico Mendes Institute for Conservation of Biodiversity being named in his honor. Chico was a dedicated activist who gave his life for his work, and we're excited to now welcome him into the Hall of Genius.

"At first I thought I was fighting to save rubber trees, then I thought I was fighting to save the Amazon rainforest. Now I realize I am fighting for humanity." -Chico Mendes

Just like a butterfly, the newest Genius Series print, Patch, is intricate and ethereal. With a monochromatic color scheme, filled with different shades of Dazzle, Patch resembles a monarch's wings through a kaleidoscopic design. Influenced by the work of American Entomologist, Edith Patch, this graceful, captivating motif will take your little one to new heights.

When she was a child, Edith Patch won a contest for an essay on monarch butterflies. Passionate about bugs and ecology, Patch tried to get a job in entomology, but was repeatedly rejected because she was a woman. Through persistence and dedication, she was later hired by Charles Woods of the University of Maine, where she earned her master's degree, later completing her Ph.D. at Cornell University. In 1930, Patch was elected the first woman president of the Entomological Society of America, a time when few women were in the field. Throughout her long, devoted career, she never lost focus of her love for science and the natural world, which now lands her a spot in our Hall of Genius.

Get ready for any adventure with our newest Genius Series print, Osa. This bold, distinct print features a timeless combination of black and white with a modern floral design. Like Martin, Osa is an essential for any little voyager.

Osa Johnson was an American author, explorer, photographer, filmmaker and naturalist. With her husband, Martin Johnson, by her side, she explored and documented the unknown lands of Africa, South Pacific Islands and more. Together, they captivated the world with their discoveries, photography, films and books. In 1940, Osa published her best-seller, I Married Adventure, which was listed in the Best Books of the Decade, 1936-1945. Her work continues to inspire, and is displayed at the Martin and Osa Johnson Safari Museum.

Forged after a true wildlife explorer, Martin exhibits adventure, risk, courage and strength. Capturing the bold yet majestic characteristics of a tiger, this eye-popping print includes a striking mix of black, white and Mirror. Fierce and revered, Martin was created for any little scout.

Martin Johnson was a photographer, a filmmaker, a naturalist, an author, but most of all - a voyager. From Africa to the South Pacific Islands, he embarked on various adventures with his wife by his side, researching and studying the wildlife and people of distant lands. Through photography, books and films, their findings captivated people all over the world and inspired the design of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Say ahoy to Spence! Inspired by underwater archaeologist, Dr. E. Lee Spence, this print truly embodies a deep sea adventure. Decked with treasure maps, ships, parrots and pirates, Spence features Moonbeam, Sassy and Clementine accents, creating a perfect combination for any little mate.

Through his acting, comedy and filmmaking, Charlie Chaplin was one of Hollywood's first superstars, most known for his famous role in "The Tramp." Chaplin was not only a talented actor, but also considered to be one of the greatest filmmakers in the history of American cinema, in which he received many awards. From numerous Oscars to the Knight Bachelor of the Order of the British Empire in the 1975 Queen's Honours List, Chaplin's accomplishments were truly recognized by the world. After living a life of talent, success and hard work, Chaplin now takes his rightful place in the bumGenius Genius Series Hall of Fame.

As a film and fashion superstar throughout Hollywood's Golden Age, Audrey has become an icon of style and grace - Not to mention, an outstanding actress and true humanitarian. She received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President George H. W. Bush and was one of the few actresses to have won an Academy, Emmy, Grammy and Tony award. In her early life, Hepburn worked for the Dutch Resistance during World War II by transporting secret messages in her ballet slippers. The evidence of her talent, boldness, and hard work make her accomplishments truly worthy of a Genius status in our book. Just like Audrey's chic, timeless style, this Genius series print is sure to become a staple in the cloth diaper community and is ready to make a debut in your store's cloth diaper collection.
